Datalab has released an updated version of its Marker pipeline, which has achieved significant improvements in optical character recognition. The new version, Marker 2, has scored 76.0 on the olmOCR-bench and can process 2.9 pages per second on a single B200, outperforming MinerU by a factor of five. Additionally, Marker 2 has surpassed Docling in both accuracy and speed.
