Samsung Research America's Digital Health Team has created two AI foundation models that can learn from data collected by smartwatches. The models analyze various biosignals, including heart activity, sleep patterns, and physical activity. This work is part of Samsung's Connected Care vision, which aims to improve health monitoring and care. The company presented its research at the Health Forum during Galaxy Unpacked in July 2026.
